"What's important is that children have an opportunity to bond with the natural world, to learn to love it before being asked to heal its wounds" -- David Sobel

Our approach

Seed and Sky invites homeschoolers of elementary age and beyond to deepen their understanding of the natural world through inquiry, play, hand on experiences, art projects, and journaling. With knowledge and appreciation of Waldorf, Reggio, and Charlotte Mason methodology, we combine child led inquiry and solid curriculum with the natural rhythm and cycles of the earth as our guide.

Child-led discovery

We empower children to lead their own learning journey through free play and guided exploration in our natural outdoor classroom. This approach builds confidence and independent thinking.

Experienced educators

Our passionate and knowledgeable educators facilitate engaging activities, encourage questions, and provide a safe and supportive environment for every child to thrive.

Hands-on learning

From building shelters to identifying local flora and fauna, our hands-on activities connect children directly with scientific concepts and ecological principles.

All-weather adventurers

We embrace outdoor learning in all seasons and weather conditions grounding us and tying us to the earth's natural rhythms, teaching resilience and adaptability through direct engagement with nature's elements.

Outdoor learning was an entirely new concept to us when we started with our daughter in 2022, but now that we've tried it, we love it and we would never go back"
