The Farm
Seed and Sky Learning Club meets at the 15 acre Beaver Moon Farm in Forest Hill. We believe that the environment is our first teacher. There is so much to see and learn just by slowing down and noticing our surroundings. During our days at the farm, we will observe the small and constant changes in our environment throughout the year. Our goal is to foster a deep connection to the cyclical nature of world.

Kelley McGill
I believe nature is our home and original place of belonging. As a mother, caregiver, preschool teacher, and forest school guide, I feel deeply called to support others in finding their own connection with nature. I received a graduate certificate in Nature Based Early Childhood Education from Antioch University. Before shifting to nature based work, I taught special education in public schools, an experience that continuously fuels my passion for accessibility and equity in outdoor spaces.

Sara Vail
As a homeschool graduate and a mother of two neurodiverse homeschooled children, I have a deep understanding of the unique lifestyle and needs of homeschooling families. As an active member of multiple homeschool communities and educational programs, I am comfortable guiding children of all learning styles with any struggles they may have. My journey into nature-based education began in 2018 when I earned my Waldorf Early Childhood graduate certificate. Since then, I have dedicated myself to enhancing my knowledge through continuous naturalist training programs. If you are new to homeschooling, I am happy to offer any guidance or advice!
"Our daughter looked forward to every class, and came home from each day excited about what she had learned"
